The Indirect Effect of Job Resources on Employees’ Intention to Stay: A Serial Mediation Model with Psychological Capital and Work–Life Balance as the Mediators

چکیده

The COVID-19 pandemic has induced a sudden shift from work in an office setting to home. flexibility and job autonomy achieved through telecommuting ought facilitate positive outcomes among employees. Apart few contradicting studies, literature predominantly revolves around the aspects of working However, number employees voluntarily leaving their jobs increased since “the great resignation” March 2021. Therefore, building upon conservation resource theory demands resources framework, current study tests influence specific resources, (JA), perceived organizational support (POS) on employees’ intention stay (IS) directly indirectly unique serial mediation pathway psychological capital (PsyCap) work–life balance (WLB). results affirmed that JA POS have association with IS. Moreover, PsyCap WLB were also found serially mediating direct between JA, POS, study’s findings offer valuable insights for HR managers relevance role controlling attrition rates. this could be helpful design measures reduce rates foster This is first instrument indirect (serial mediation) WLB, IS, thus significantly contributing literature.
